Geography
Canada is the second-largest country in the world after Russia. On its west there is the Pacific Ocean. It is a vast country whit six time zones. The population is very small whit only about 30 million peaple smaller than population of Italy and Britain. 89% of Canada is uninhabited. More than half of Canada is forest and about half the population lives near the southern border with the USA, in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario.

Symbols The simbol of Canada is the maple leaf, the Canadian flag. The simbol of Canada is the beaver and rapresents the importance of the fur trade to Canada's history.

Landmark Over 40 million tourist visit Canada expecially the Niagara Falls, one of the most important attraction. Many turists visit the CN tower in Toronto. Other attractions includes the old town of Montreal. West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping center in the world and, Stanly Park in Vancouver. The most important and famous towns are: Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec, Calgary and the capital: Ottawa.
