Canada presentation

First of all, I wanna share some fun facts and useful details about Canada.
My cousins have been living in Canada since 2007, and they always share funny stories with
us.

First, it is not a fun fact, but it is an important detail: In Canada there are two official
languages, English and French. Canada is the second largest country in the whole word,
after Russia. Canada's two most famous cities are Ottawa, the capital, and Toronto, the
country's largest.
Its territory stretches from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean, hence the country's national
motto: "A Mari Usque Ad Mare", meaning "From Sea to Sea".'

1.SLIDE - NIAGARA FALLS

Niagara Falls is a natural border between New York and Ontario, Canada, with the American
Falls on the American side of the border and the Canadian Falls on the Canadian side. The
word Niagara comes from the word "onguiaahra", meaning "thunderous noise".
Until 1886, when the Statue of Liberty was erected, Niagara Falls was the symbol of America
and the New World. Visitors from all over the world made Niagara a must-see on their visit to
North America. Originally, up to 25 billion litres of water flowed through the falls every hour.
Today, the volume is regulated by the Canadian and US governments to slow erosion. In
addition, some of the water is diverted to provide electricity for the United States and
Canada, making Niagara Falls the largest source of electricity in the world today.

2 .SLIDE - LAKE MORAINE

One of Canada's most popular attractions is Lake Moraine, located in the western part of
Banff National Park. The lake is fed by a glacier, and its unique appearance is due to its
interesting bluish-green colour. The lake is surrounded by the beautiful mountains of Alberta.
Interestingly, it is one of the most photographed locations in Canada.
