To you, Yah / weh do I // cry, My Rock, do // not be deaf to me. For if you are silent // to me, Then I become like those who go // down to the pit. Hear the sound of my supplication when I // call for help; When I lift my hands to your holy // sanctuary. Drag me not away with // wicked men. And with // those who make trouble. Who speak peace with their // neighbors While // evil is in their hearts. Give to them according to their // deed, And according to the // evil of their acts. According to the work of their hands // give to them, Re- // quite them what they have done. Because they do not attend to // Yahweh's deeds, Or to the // work of his hands. He will // tear them down, And // not build them up. Blessed be // Yahweh, For he has heard the sound of my // supplication Yahweh, my strength and my // shield, In // him my heart trusted. And I was helped, and my heart ex- // alts. And with my // song I will thank him. Yahweh is their // strength; And a saving stronghold for his a- // nointed is he. Save your // people And bless // your inheritance And // shepherd them And bear them up into the ever after. Blessed be Yaweh, God of // Israel From everlasting to // everlasting A // men, Yes, // Amen.
