Psalm 32

Cong. //

Most hap- / py is the one whose trans- // gression is forgiven, Whose impurity // is concealed. Most happy is the man to whom Yahweh does not im- // pute liabili ty, And in whose spirit there // is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones // wasted away, Through my groaning all // the day long. For day and night your hand was // heavy upon me. My freshness was turned into the drought // of summer. My impurity I ac- // knowledged to you; And my liability I // did not conceal. I said, 'I will confess my trans- // gressions to Yahweh'; And it was you who forgave the liability of my // impurity. For this let all the kindevoted pray to you in a time when // you may be found. Surely when the floods of waters rise they will // not reach him. You are my hiding place; from trouble // you preserve me. With songs of deliverance you // surround me. I will instruct you and teach you in the // way you should walk. I will counsel you with my eye // upon you. Do not be like a horse, like a mule, having no // understanding. By bit and bridle, he is harnessed for control; else he does not // come near you. Many are the plans // of the wicked; But he who trusts in Yahweh, kindevotion // surrounds him. Be glad in Yahweh and re- // joice you righteous ones. And shout out all you who are up- // right in heart. Blessed be Yahweh, God of // Israel, From everlasting to // everlasting. A // men, Yes, // Amen.
