Introduction
My name is Angela Chouaib. In 2009 I was in the same
position as you probably are now – trawling the internet,
leafing through piles of medical marketing literature and
altogether overwhelmed by the options available to a
woman considering cosmetic surgery. Surely there was
an easier way? I remember asking myself.
My frustration was compounded by more than just the

search for a perfect plastic surgeon. Having shed ten
stone through weight-loss surgery, I now had to face the
long wait until I’d ascended the NHS waiting list. The
length of time I would have to wait would be two years. I
needed an alternative solution. There were so many
factors that I had to take into consideration in making a decision, from the cost of the procedure to the
safety, skill and reputation of the surgeon.
Finally, my seemingly endless search bore fruit. I’d found my dream hospital and surgeon. The fact
that it was in Poland didn’t concern me so long as the treatment I received was top-class.
In April 2010 I flew from the UK, to have my long awaited tummy tuck. Any previous reservations I
had were unfounded – not only was the customer care exemplary, but the treatment exceeded all my
expectations! I returned a short time later for a breast reduction and uplift.
When I returned home from my second procedure, I couldn’t help but feel the hospital and surgeon
deserved more recognition. Back in the UK people were paying exorbitant rates for treatments they
could receive in Poland for a fraction of the fees, and with the same level of expertise, safety, and
professionalism as was offered in the UK.
My life changing and positive experience of elective cosmetic surgery in Poland was to be the proud
banner I would wave for other women researching safe, overseas cosmetic surgery options, after all I
learnt in the process of my extensive research that choice is something we should be entitled to as
long as it is always a safe well informed one.
I spoke about my experience very positively in many forums, groups, and mediums; I soon became
an information point for other women considering their options, by speaking truthfully I removed the
stigma associated with overseas cosmetic surgery, and dispelled the myths that circulated in the
press and media. It was at this time with great passion, enthusiasm and belief, and as a result of my

Length of Stay with Us:

After these procedures it is recommended that you stay in Poland for 10-12 days.
For 2 days after each procedure you will be in the clinic under permanent doctor control.
On leaving the Clinic you will be taken and take your accommodation.
Your assistant will collect you from the hotel and go to the clinic to check up as

Face and Neck Surgery Procedure Steps

Neck Lift is a surgery designed to reduce the 'loose' look of sagging skin in the neck area,

procedure achieved through a variety of incision patterns and techniques. The appropriate
technique for your individual case will be determined by your individual facial anatomy, your
skin quality and skin elasticity. These options will be discussed fully with you with your

Face and Neck Recovery and Healing Steps
Once your surgical procedure is completed, the surgical areas will be covered in dressing or
bandages and an elastic bandage. The purpose of this bandage is to minimise swelling and
support the skin as the incision sites heal.
During your stay in Poland, Your Medical team will advise you of the following;
How to care for the incision sites and area following surgery, and the importance to
cleanse the incision sites and apply any ointment as directed, and it is important you
follow that advice carefully, as this is essential to the success of your final outcome.
Medications to apply or to take orally to reduce the risk of infection
Specific changes at the surgical site or in overall health
You will be seen daily by medical staff during your stay in Poland, to ensure that your
recovery and healing proceed in optimum standards.
A return to light and normal activity is possible as soon as you feel ready, which is
normally a few days after surgery, however initial wound healing may take between 5
to 10 days at which time your sutures may be removed, your surgeon will advise you
when your sutures will be removed.
You will be able to return to work and resume normal activity after this time. It is
advisable not to engage in any strenuous activity within 4 to 6 weeks after your
procedure.
You will also be offered Dermatix ointment/gel to aid the recovery of your incision
sites.
Each patient receives tailored individual information and follow up care when
discharged from the hospital.
It is important to note that Face and Neck Surgery recovery times vary from patient to
