Role-playing
AIM
- to be able to recognise autumn

Children recognised that autumn is here through some explorations

and observations we did in the park with some trees, leaves,
mushrooms and etc.

- to know who are fairies

Through reading and understanding fairy tales, children boost their

imagination and cultural literacy. They understand what is right and
wrong, not through direct teaching, but through implication.
Children also developed critical thinking skills and helped deal their
emotions by themselves.

- to develop childrens interest in role-playing

- Children communication skills developed since each of them took

part in every dramatic/role play we did, then they practised and
copied they words they heard to follow the play. It also developed
children social skills through negotiating rules with mutual
understanding and physical development as well.
OBJECTIVES
- to understand what happens in autumn and its climate

Children understand that during autumn, leaves from trees fall and its
colour change from green to red, orange, yellow then everything turns
brown since they go into rest. They also understand that they need to
wear sweater or jacket when its needed since climate is changing and
getting colder.

- to recognise the cycle of seasons in the year

Children recognised that there are four seasons in a year in which

autumn is a third season, coming after summer and before winter.

- to recognise colours and develop skills in arts

Through some activities we did, children were recognising colours of

leaves, paints, collage paper and more. By using the materials
presented in every activity, children were finding ways and using
initiative in making their own works that helped develop their interest
and skills in arts.
