Asked to respond to the BCCI decision agreeing to a three-match ODI series betwe en the two arch-rivals, BJP spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said, "The Pakistan c ricket team had come to India earlier for the World Cup. The team of terrorists involved in the 26/11 attack should also be brought to India." It maintains that no talks should be h eld with Pakistan till it acts on the dossiers provided to it on 26/11 accused a nd the culprits living there are brought to book. India and Pakistan have not played each other in a bilateral series for close to five years. The decision to resume cricketing ties with Pakistan was taken by BCCI's powerfu l Working Committee, which met here today, much to the delight of cricket fans o n both sides of the border.
