only install the Agent component of PowerChute Business Edition to Windows Server 2008 Server Core. The Server and Console components of PowerChute cannot be installed to that operating system. Installing You can install from the APC Web site or from the CD. See A. and B. below. A. From the APC Web site, download pcbesetup.exe to a non-Server Core version of Windows. Copy the file to a temporary directory on the Server Core machine. In the command prompt window, go to the temporary directory and run pcbesetup.exe by typing its name and pressing Enter. For example, cd \temp pcbesetup B. If you are installing from a CD, in the command prompt window, go to the Agent directory on the CD drive, and run setup.exe. For example, F: cd Windows/Agent/Bin setup Uninstalling In the command prompt window, go to the PowerChute installation directory and run UninstallAgent.bat.
