Liar Game: Final Stage Humans have always being viewed as a species that stand on top of the evolutionary

tree. We are superior in many aspects compared to our animal counterparts. We are more intelligent, resourceful and adaptable. Yet, we could not get rid of our animalistic side: greed. Liar Game is founded solely based on the greed of a human being and the Office exploited this weakness to pit human against each other. The winner takes everything and the losers are left with nothing, but mountain of debt. Many times have I asked myself this question; why anyone sane would sponsor such a dehumanizing game? The answer became clear to me as the movie reached its climax; the filthy rich people on top of the social strata enjoy seeing others struggle and deceive one another. Profit is another motivator for these sponsors, there can be only one winner among 10 participants and losses in the game are converted into real debt the moment this game is over. In the end, they have nothing to lose and as a bonus they get to witness human beings committing despicable actions to be the sole survivor. The heroine, Nao Kanzaki has shown us that humans are not that ugly and there is still hope in humanity. She is often called Nave Nao for being incredibly honest and righteous throughout the game. I could not possibly count how many times have she forgives someone who just betrayed her. Her actions really get into my nerves and I just could not believe suck ha person exist in the real world. However, her existence does give me a ray of hope that humans could work together to amend for their imperfections. Nao had shown us that we should remain optimistic in the face of oblivion, and a little trust is all it takes to achieve universal goodness for everyone. Nao would not have survive in this battle of wits without the help of the shrewd Akiyama-san. If Nao is the angel, than Akiyama will be the devil. He is incredibly intelligent and many international companies had become his prey. He is feared for this incredible insights, coveted lies that he made flawlessly and most of all, stoic composure. He had helped Nao countless times and have shown his warmer side as the movie reaches its end. After witnessing Nao-chans selfless act to save a stranger, he vowed to win this game and beat the Office to put an end to this twisted game once and for all. You will never one to miss this movie because it represents both sides of the coin. It lets us see deep into our weaknesses: greed, and shows us that we could all overcome that with: trust.
