Annet Curtis Klaus lives in Hyattsville, Maryland. She has a husband, Mark, and a few cats.

She is currently working at a library in Montgomery County. Most of the books that she wrote come in the form of young adult fiction. Her scholar degrees include a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and a Master of Library Science. Her award winning books include; Alien Secrets, The Silver Kiss, and Blood and Chocolate. Her latest book is Freaks: Alive on the inside.

The great wars are over after the fall of the Grakki Empire. The universe returns to peace. Although, not every important conflict has to be a war. One of which is a twelve year old girl named Puck. She was recently expelled from boarding school and is headed to Aurora to join her parents. The other person is a recently freed Shoowa named Hush. He was a slave to the Grakk and is now headed to Aurora in hopes to set free more Shoowa. How will they find the Soo as they are drawn into a world of villains, murder, and ghosts on a cursed ship? No one is to be trusted.
