Annet Curtis Klaus lives in Hyattsville, Maryland. She has a husband, Mark, and a few cats.

She is currently working at a library in Montgomery County. Most of the books that she wrote come in the form of young adult fiction. Her scholar degrees include a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and a Master of Library Science. Her award winning books include; Alien Secrets, The Silver Kiss, and Blood and Chocolate. Her latest book is Freaks: Alive on the inside.

The great wars are over after the fall of the Grakki Empire. The universe returns to peace. Although, not every important conflict has to be a war. The Shoowa alien race have lost the sacred Soo, an item capable of freeing twelve hundred trapped alien souls. The fate of this object lies in the hands of two people. One of which is a twelve year old girl named Puck. She was recently expelled from boarding school and is headed to Aurora to join her parents. The other person is a recently freed Shoowa named Hush. He was a slave to the Grakk and is now headed to Aurora in hopes to set free more Shoowa. How will they find the Soo as they are drawn into a world of villains, murder, and ghosts on a cursed ship? No one is to be trusted.
