VVR 2.0 DIALING GUIDE

Prerequisite
(1) Firewall Access Many enterprises lock down their infrastructure for accessing the public internet. In order to use VVR the following ports must be open to the Internet or WAN connection. a. Signaling Port: SIP Port (5060) or H.323 Port: 1719/1720 b. Media Port Range: 10000 - 20000 (2) URI Support Endpoints must support URI dialing (number@ovcloud.com). Some Polycom video units do not support URI and may require use of a TCS4 pseudo URI dial-string in the format: IP Address##Number (3) Enterprise must support resolving of domain (ovcloud.com). If it does not resolve the domain, use 216.157.162.4 in place of ovcloud.com

Testing Your System

Users will be able to perform a self-test to ensure their video endpoint is functioning and can reach the platform. Users will see an audio and video loopback. Use VVR Code: 8378(TEST)@216.157.162.4

How to Tell Whether Endpoint is SIP of H.323

H.323 endpoints receive a static screen, while SIP endpoints receive the video lobby.
