    This is the standard 2007 Yamaha R1 ECU for the US market. It is possible an OBDII adapter will allow communication with the ECU. Maybe it will even allow reflashing the maps and firmware.

    This is the standard 2007 Yamaha R1 ECU for the US market.

    Note: All pins are present in the small connector side. I dont know if they are all connected internally, though. It is possible an OBDII adapter will allow communication with the ECU. Maybe it will even allow reflashing the maps and firmware

    The race ECU has this unoccupied location populated with a yellow lead that correlates to the CAN RX line.

    The race ECU has this unoccupied location populated with a green lead that correlates to the CAN TX line.

    This is the yellow lead location as viewed with the connector installed.

    This is the green lead location as viewed with the connector installed.
