LINES
Line is a very important element in disposal of every artist. Artist uses lines to represent figures and forms.

LINES
Lines always have direction. Lines are always moving. Lines may either be straight or curve.

Different Types of Lines

Horizontal Lines
Horizontal lines are lines of repose and serenity. They express ideas of calmness and quiescence. Commonly called the horizon

Vertical Lines
These are lines poised for actions. They are poised, balanced, forceful, and dynamic. They are also tend to express as well as arouse emotions of exaltation inquietude

Vertical Lines
Vertical lines seen in person standing straight, a tall tree, and statues of saints and heroes give an impression of dignity.

Diagonal Lines
Diagonal Lines suggest actions. They give animation to any composition in which they appear.

Curved Lines
Curved Lines suggest grace, movement flexibility, joyousness, and grace.
