Your 100 Name Everyone-You-Know List

If there is one common trait that distinguishes successful people from unsuccessful people in network marketing, its the ability that the successful people have to write out a list of names and then action those names. We refer to the list of names as your Everyone-You-Know or E.Y.K. List. Why do we call it that? Well, if we call it a contact list or prospect list thats exactly how you start thinking about those names Oh Ive got to start thinking about contacts or prospects for my business whereas, at this stage, all youve been asked to do is think about literally everyone you know and put their name and phone number down on paper. You may be thinking you can miss this stage out as it perhaps doesnt seem that important? Well, Ive got all my names in my head, why do I need to write them down?. The reason you do is because there is no way that you will be able to keep track of everyone in your head. Why do you write out a shopping list? - to ensure you dont forget anything its the same with your EYK list. Write everyone down and keep adding names to it all the time, that way you wont forget anyone. Keep in mind that EVERYBODY can benefit from the Talk Fusion services and business. Dont pre-judge people by assuming they dont have a need for the services or wouldnt want to get involved in your business lets say that again dont pre-judge anyone! How would you have liked it if someone had made the decision for you? oh theres no point me showing it to him/her because they definitely wont be interested. Remember: You wouldnt have appreciated someone making the decision about Talk Fusion for you, so make sure you dont make the decision for others! Give everyone the chance to make up their own mind.

Why a 100 Name List?

John Kalench, network marketing leader and top author of several books on successfully building networks, wrote in his book Being The Best You Can Be in MLM... The most common mistake made by new distributors is that when they first make that decision to go out there and start talking to people about the products and opportunity, three, four or five people they know immediately come to mind. They dont write these people down, they just think of three, four or five people. Then they immediately pick up the phone and call one of them. Chances are that person may not be interested for a variety of reasons, most of which have nothing to do with your new distributor. And if their first phone call is to someone whos not interested, thats one out of three or one out of five who say No.Theyve just lost 20 or 30 percent of their prospects! Thats a real bad start. But when you have a list of 100 people, and you call up that first person and for whatever reason he or she isnt interested, you can easily say, thats okay, Ill just check you off my list for now. One percent. No big deal. At this point wed like to emphasise that you havent been asked to do anything with the names yet, all youve been asked is to go through everyone you know and put their names and phone numbers down, simply putting a tick beside potential customers (all those not with a tick are potential Associates). Its often easier to do this with the help of your partner to bounce names off each other. Use the Yellow Pages, White Pages and the Everyone-You-Know Memory Jogger overleaf to help you think of all the people you know, then list them on the forms provided for Your 100 Names EYK List.
