5 Steps to Choosing the Right Childcare

There is nothing more important to a parent then their children.


Finding the right caregiver is a quest that at times seems insurmountable.

Who do you really want to let teach and raise your children when you simply cannot be there?
The answer is someone you can welcome into your home as a family friend, and someone that you know will treat your children as if they are their own while still maintaining your rules and teachings.

Step 1

Dont trust the internet!

Let your kids do an interview!

They can and should be the ultimate decision factor- and this step can

tell you a lot about their developing relationship by how they react to each other, and how they will get along in the future. If your children shy away, or keep distant then this is not the person for your child. The child should feel as comfortable with them as they are with a close family friend.

Once you have found someone both you and your Kids like, then ask for references and make sure to contact at least two of them.

Plan a day in which you and the sitter can spend a few hours together with the children.
This is ideal because the sitter needs to know a bit about your families

habits and how you deal with issues as they arise. Plus you can see how they interact even if you are just in the house while the spend time with the children.
