    This document provides assembly instructions for a raised bed plastic mulch layer machine in 6 steps: 1. Attach the yellow arms and press wheels to the machine using lynch pins and chains. 2. Attach the cover disks and dirt shields to the yellow arms using brackets and tee locks. 3. Install the chisel teeth upside down so the tips point downward. 4. Load the drip tape onto the rollers and run it through rings to the irrigation pipe. Lay the plastic sheeting between the bottom rollers. 5. Connect the machine to a tractor's PTO and hook up the optional 12V battery for power. 6. Square the plastic sensor mounted on the machine

    Dirt Shield Set

    Remove lynch pin from hole on yellow arm and slide yellow arm through press wheel and into hinge underneath machine. Fasten in place with lynch pin. Secure chains to holes as shown.

    Slide disk bracket over end of yellow bar and tighten in place with yellow lock handle. Install dirt shield as shown, by sliding end through hole and fastening with tee lock handle.

    Chisel teeth are upside down for shipping. Rotate chisel tooth till tip is on bottom.

    Drip Tape: Slide drip roll onto rod, press plate tight against roll(A) and Plastic: Place plastic rolls on top of rollers(A). Pull end of plastic down

    tighten tee-handle on clamp. Slip drip tape through both rings(B) and into pipe(C). in between rollers and underneath bottom roller(B). Secure plastic and drip tape at end of row.

    Hook up to tractor pto.

    Connect to 12V battery.

    Note: Small 12V battery mounted on machine will also work.
