July 2012 TO ALL FELLOWS AND MEMBERS OF BMOGS BMOGS CENTENARY MEETING FRIDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER 2012 EDGBASTON STADIUM, EDGBASTON BIRMINGHAM B5 7QU Please find attached a booking form for the forthcoming BMOGS Autumn Meeting. As you will be aware this is our Centenary Meeting and we would hope that as many of our Fellows, Members and trainees attend as possible. The meeting is to be held at the Edgbaston Stadium, please see the website for more information www.edgbaston.com I very much hope that you will be able to join us, and also encourage your colleagues and trainees to attend. The programme will include excellent scientific presentations, trainees' prize presentations and posters. Our keynote lecturers are covering a wide spectrum of issues and challenges facing our specialty and include: Dr Ellen Knox The role of the modern Obstetric Day Assessment Unit, Mr Richard Cartmill Training our future O&G specialists: past, present and future perspectives, Professor Khalid Khan The future of BJOG, Professor Sir Arulkumaran MDG 5 Challenges ahead and Mr John Pogmore giving the Historical lecture BMOGS from its conception to maturity (1912 1939) Preparation, Presentations and Personalities. Following the meeting there will be a Black Tie dinner at the Edgbaston Stadium, 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm Should you wish to attend we would be grateful if you could return the Booking Form to the address shown thereon with your attendance details, including a cheque for the appropriate fee by Monday 27th August 2012. The charges are 55 for the day, including lunch. Dinner will be 35 per head. Further details regarding the Partners Programme are to follow, however an interesting day and lunch is assured for all who wish to attend.
