unique characteristics irrespective their location. This is due to its proximity to streets in some cases while in some cases it is also due to its location for e.g. next to a prominent landmark i.e. masjid. Entry: The entry points are often cluttered with parking which belong to the shop owners who have their shops facing on the line of the main road. These streets are crowed for the maximum amount of time and cater to a variety of people from shop owners to pedestrians to vehicles owners. In some rare cases they are characterized by tree or a landmark such as a gateway (Many wadis in Kalbadevi ) There consist a mix of different strata of the society and are faced with conveniences stores Four way crossing: `This is typical in iron grid layouts of neighborhoods. They are an amalgamation of 4 nodes. It is characterized by trees or landmark in centre (Villages and old fort precincts). The ground floors of the buildings are faced with shops selling their characteristic goods i.e. electrical clothes etc. Noise pollution is a common problem faced by the residents. These streets are moderately crowded with people and are populated only till the commercial activities continue. Nodes:

These are similar to entry points.

Internal Streets: These have unique characteristics which are due to its proximity to certain landmarks or certain transportation network/amenities. These streets are moderately crowed and maintain a rich flavor of the neighborhood it caters to due to it being secluded from the main street by buildings. These streets are a podium for the street vendors which sell unique goods.
