Assignment -Article Review:

General Information: Students name, title of the article, and date should be placed in the upper left corner of the paper. The review should be double-spaced using Times New Roman, 12 font. Reference: Provide the web address of the article being reviewed. (The article should be readily available on-line. No subscription should be necessary to access the article.) Summary of the Article: This summary should include two to four well-formed and concise paragraphs that state the purpose, design, methodology, and message of the article. Evaluation of the Article: The final portion should be one to three paragraphs that state the students evaluation of the article. The paragraphs should answer the following questions (in narrative form): did the author clearly present the purpose of the article, was the author effective in the attempt to examine the issue, did the author have a bias, who will benefit from reading this article, what will the benefit be, and how important or extensive is the benefit? Also, if the author had a reason to provide the information from a biased position, please note that in the evaluation. Finally, provide a paragraph that expresses your opinions or learning from the article. Additional Information: Articles should be sufficiently long and have enough information to write a good review (generally, articles should be at least two or three pages long). The review should generally be at least 1 - 2 typed pages. The review should not just quote what is in the article or restate what is in the textbook. Papers should not contain spelling, typographical, or grammatical errors. Please feel free to approach me for any clarification. So good luck and wish you all a wonderful semester. (Amlan J.
