Company is in retail operation business from many years and continue to expand its business in retail sector within their operation continue to innovate and experiment with new things with the help of technology and their supply chain strategy that help them to continue expand their business in new aspects of retail business

What value does the business provide customer ? Retail business is different unlikely where you manufactured products and distribute here we not only concentrate on manufactured but also considered many other things such as customer service, supply chain, range of products , lifestyle, electronics gadgets more important in retail business customer interaction is there that makes the business more critical ensures that business provide value to customer in any way e.g price, customer service, quality, quantity and so on

What are the important issues facing the business? FDI restrictions in many countries that restrict TATA group to expand overseas business on a large scale Prices of petrol that increases the transportation cost and cost of product also increases Government restriction in many parts of the country ,tax restriction Culture and belief of the people (large part of population still is very hesitate to go mall)

On first reading what do you think company should do? Company should advertise and make a statement that it is not necessary that you have to spend thousands if you go to mall or a retail outlet because many part of the population is feel uncomfortable Company should position their product for lower level and middle income people because major parts of the Indian population is from middle class family Bulk purchasing and manufacturing Online selling their product

What are the possible problems with your suggested recommendations? Huge cost in advertising Time consuming May loose opportunity in high segment market May impact the quality if continues to focus on reducing the price Cyber crime can be possible

Cultural environment :people from different religion ,beliefs ,customs, tradition Political environment: democratic country with lot of political parties disputes Technology environment: highly innovative products are coming up with the help of china and japan Economic : most part of the world is facing the recession but compare to rest of the world India is much better in terms of economic condition
