Insurance] *Air-Freight & Insurance - Shipping charges by FedEx/UPS/DHL (Door-to-Door on DD U basis) DDU means Delivery Duty Unpaid. DDU means that the Carrier (FedEx etc) will take the shipment to Destination Airport and after this FedEx will charge consignee for Import customs charges, Import Duty, Import taxes etc at destination. Carrier (FedEx etc) will deliver the goods to Consignee Door but will charge consignee for Import customs clearance and Import Duty taxes. ************* ************* Option 2 : CIF USD Total Amount[Total Amount = Selling price of Equipment + **Air-Freight & Insurance] **Air-Freight & Insurance - Shipping charges by Airline Cargo (Airport-to-Airpor t on CIF basis) CIF means Cost, Insurance and Freight. CIF means that the Carrier (Airlines Cargo) will contact consignee at Destination and handover the related documents for shipment to Consignee. Consignee will have to clear the shipment from Destination customs using his own clearing agent. ************* ************* Option 3 : EXW USD Total Amount[Total Amount = Selling price of Equipment] EXW means Ex-Warehouse, New Delhi, India EXW means that Consignee / Buyer will nominate his Carrier / Freight forwarder to collect/pickup the shipment from Origin (New Delhi, India) Nominated freight forwarder / carrier will charge consignee (at destination) for pickup and shipping charges. ************* ************* Option 4 : FOB/FCA shipping point USD Total Amount[Total Amount = Selling price of Equipment + Pickup and Export customs clearance charges in exporting Country] FOB shipping point means Free On Board or Freight On Board FCA shipping point means Free Carrier (named place of delivery) FOB/FCA shipping point means that Shipper will nominate his Freight forwarder to collect/pickup the shipment from Shipper s warehouse to Origin Airport (DEL, IGI Airport, New Delhi, India) Shipper will bear Pickup and Export customs clearance charges in exporting Country. Consignee s Nominated freight forwarder / carrier will charge consignee (at destination) for Airline Air-Freight, Import customs charges, Import Duty, Import taxes, Destination Airport to Consignee Door transportation charges etc at destination (Importing Country).
