Aims: to read for specific information (scanning) to keep the correct information to be able to apply the teory within exercises to guess the meaning of the words form the text to be able to use the new notions to compare answers with partners and explain choices to understand the meaning of words or phrases to be able to give good answers to know when to use cant and must to be able to solve the exercises

to be able at the end of the lesson to respond at all the questions asked by the teacher

Activities Timing
The teacher salutes the students and introduces herself. The teacher will write on the blackboard the title of the lesson What do you do for a living? and ask the children: What would they do for a living? After she heards all their ideas she asks them to give other examples about jobs that they would practice for a living. Students are introduced to the topic of the new lesson. Teacher writes the title of the lesson on the blackboard and discuss a little more about these kind of jobs, about how do you need to be to do the jobs and to use adjectives to describe each particular job. The teacher gives them an exercise where they have to answer the questions for their ideal job. This exercise makes them to be familiar with the qualities that they need to have for that job and also to give examples about what they need to be for each of them. The teacher will write on the blackboard the grammar notions about cant and must and when they have to use them. The teacher gives them exercises in order to see if they have understood the grammar notions. The techear gives them a cross-word in order to solve it. She leves them a few minutes to look over it and solve it. The teacher corrects the exercises and asks them if it is something that they didnt understand. The teacher thanks them for listening to her and asks them if they enjoyed the class lesson. The teacher gives them as homework the other exercises that havent been done in class.
