Good morning to one and all.

At first, I wish each and every one a very happy and auspicious 66th Independence Day. Today we commemorate the day India attained freedom from the debatable rule of the Britishers and which was achieved by our great leaders who sacrificed their life for the sake of our motherland. Independence gave us the freedom to run a sovereign self-government, freedom to express our thoughts, freedom to compete with the world, etc. But how successful are we is a question that we have to ask ourselves. Independence does not mean that we do whatever we like. Independence was envisaged by our great visionaries to bring peace, prosperity and fraternity to the nation. However, this Independence has been wrongly misconstrued by a few with vested interests and this has lead to the opening of the Pandoras Box for India. Out of these Evils, Corruption in particular is now playing a vital role; morality is just in books and stories. Everyone is a victim of corruption and people are at fear as corruption has spread like a plague infecting the peace and serenity in this country. As it is said that drops make an ocean so let us pledge today to not support corruption in any form in our own lives and get rid of this Evil from the frontiers of this great nation. If we really need and want to create a newly reformed country, we must arouse the optimism, ethics and integrity that we have inherited from our ancient culture and march forward to generate a truthful independent society. To end, let us remember the great souls who have sacrificed their lives for our Independence, pray for the soldiers who guard our borders to uphold our Independence and celebrate in the true spirit of Independence. JAI HIND!!
