Using the printer when connected by parallel cable to a computer running Windows 95/98/Me/ NT/2000/XP.
Install the Printer Driver Setup the [Option] Tab Install the appropriate Printer Driver for the Operating System used. (See INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER - Installing the Printer Driver.) Configure Options. (See INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER - Setting the Options Configuration)

SUPPLEMENT:
This machine can be used as a printer on a client-server network with Windows NT/2000 server or NetWare server, or on a peer-to-peer TCP/IP and IPX/SPX network. Also this machine can be used as a printer with Macintosh when it connects to the network. Using this machine as a network printer requires an optional network interface card. Refer to OPERATORS MANUAL FOR PRINTER FUNCTION - Network Setup for further details.

INSTALLED COMPONENTS
The printer software installation includes the printer drivers and the TOSHIBA Status Display.

Features of Each Printer Driver


Several printer drivers are available for this machine. Please select the appropriate driver when printing to achieve optimal output. PCL 6 : The PCL 6 driver is recommended for printing graphics. PS : PS driver is compatible with a PostScript Level 2 printer. It is recommended for printing at high resolution from ProstScript-capable applications and printing a document with EPS images.

SUPPLEMENT:
Several printer drivers may be installed on one computer.

Features of the TOSHIBA Status Display


The TOSHIBA Status Display can monitor the printer status, whenever certain events occur on the printer, such as a paper jam, paper out, and so on. The system can report them to users. Users can also set the printer configuration information through the system.

NOTES:
q The Printer Drivers and TOSHIBA Status Display is provided for each OS. Be certain to use the right tools for your OS. q This CD-ROM contains a "README" file which describes precautions to note about the printer drivers and various applications. Please read it before installing the Printer Drivers and TOSHIBA Status Display.

This section describes the installation of the printer drivers and the Status Display to Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000 or XP when your e-STUDIO16/20/25 is connected in local mode. If your e-STUDIO16/20/25 is connected to a peer-to-peer type network or client server network, see the OPERATORS MANUAL FOR PRINTER FUNCTION - Network Setup.
INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER

SUPPLEMENTS:
G This manual describes settings for Windows 95. The setting details are similar for Windows 98, Windows Me, Widnows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. G To install the printer driver to Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP, Full Control access rights will be necessary. A log on must be performed as a member of Administrators or Power Users group. For further details on access rights, see the Windows manual.

NOTE:
G Before installing the printer drivers and TOSHIBA Status Display, please be sure to exit all programs. G When your e-STUDIO16/20/25 is connected in local mode, the Windows Plug-and-Play function automatically starts the installation of the device driver in some environments. You can install the printer drivers by following this function as well as through the Windows Add Printer prompts. However, it is highly recommended that you select cancel at all prompts and install from the CD-ROM. This will ensure that all printer drivers and TOSHIBA Status Display components are installed at the same time.

Installing the Printer Driver

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.


G The menu screen appears. G If the menu screen is not automatically displayed, or when the printer drivers and the TOSHIBA Status Display is installed via the network, double-click on TOSHIBA_e-

STUDIO16_20_25.exe in the Menu folder of the CD-ROM, that may be found in Windows Explorer.

Click on a language of your Operating System.

Click on [Setup printer driver & utility].

Click on the Setup for Windows button of your Windows Version.


G Click on [Setup for Windows 95/98/Me] for Windows 95/98/Me. G Click on [Setup for WindowsNT4.0] for Windows NT4.0. G Click on [Setup for Windows2000/XP] for Windows 2000/XP. G The Welcome screen appears.

Click on [Next].
G The Software License Agreement screen appears. Please be sure to read through the agreement.

Click on [Yes].
G The User Information screen appears.

Select the [Group Number], and click on [Next].


q Group Number: Set the group number with a value from 1 to 20.

For information on the group number to be set, ask your administrator. q The Setup Type screen appears.

Select the Emulation and Default Paper.


q Emulation: This designates the type of driver. Check the emulation to be used. You can install multiple drivers in one installation. q Default Paper: Select the default paper to be used.

Click on [Next].
q The Select Local printer or Network printer screen appears.

Select Local Printer and click on [Next].


q If your e-STUDIO16 is connected to a peer -topeer type network or client server network, see OPERATORS MANUAL FOR PRINTER

FUNCTION - Network Setup. q The Select the Local Port screen appears.

Select the Local Port "LPT1:", and click on [Next].


q The Printer Name screen appears.

Enter the printer name, and click on [Next].


q The default printer name is automatically entered. If you do not need to change the

name, click on [Next]. q The Select Components screen appears.

Check the components you want to install.


q Readme: Install the README.TXT for the TOSHIBA Status Display. q Toshiba e-STUDIO16/20/25 Status Display: Install the TOSHIBA Status Display.

Select the drive and path for the components to be installed.


q [Change Path] button: The Select Folder screen appears from which a folder can be selected or created to install the application into. q [Disk Space...] button: The Available Disk Space screen appears from which a disk drive with sufficient space to install the application can be selected.

Click on [Next].
q If you checked on Toshiba e-STUDIO16/20/25 Status Display to be installed, the Status Display Option screen appears.

Decide whether the Status Display is automatically started.


q If you want the Status Display to be started automatically when the computer is started,

click on [Yes]. q If you want the Status Display to be started manually, click on [No]. q The Select Program Folder screen appears.

NOTE:
If you use the TOSHIBA Viewer, please select [No]. The Status Display and the TOSHIBA Viewer cannot be used at the same time.

Select the Program Folder to be created, and click on [Next].


q The Start Copying Files screen appears.

Click on [Next].
q Start the file copy. After completing the file copy, the Setup Complete screen appears.

Select Yes, I want to restart my computer now. and click on [Finish].


q You must restart Windows before using the printer drivers and software.

Complete the installation and restart your computer.

SUPPLEMENT:
The installed printer driver can be used as a network print queue by setting this printer driver as a shared printer. This enables local area network clients to print with the eSTUDIO16/20/25 via the shared printer. For further information about a shared printer, refer to the Windows manual or on-line help.

Copying the PageMaker PPD File


If you would like to print using the PS printer driver from Adobe PageMaker, you must copy the PPD file to your Adobe PageMaker program folder. SUPPLEMENT:
The PPD (PostScript Printer Description) file contains descriptions of printer-specific functions and information. This file is used to make printer-specific functions available and to provide optimum printing.

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.

Browse the \English\eSTUDIO\PageMaker folder in the CD-ROM.

Copy the TSBEST16.PPD to \RSRC\ENGLISH\PPD4 folder in the Adobe PageMaker Program folder.
q The directory of PPD4 folder in the Adobe PageMaker program folder is usually C:\PM65\RSRC\ENGLISH\PPD4.

Setting the Options Configuration


Before printing with the pritner driver, you have to set the Options Configuration at the printer driver. The functions of the printer driver for printing vary depeding on the Options.

Click on the [Start] button, click on [Settings] and click on [Printers].

Select the icon for the printer, and select [Properties] from the [File] menu.
q The properties screen of the printer driver appears.

Click on [Option] tab.

Select the installed options for each items.


q Duplex Unit Selects whether or not the Duplex Unit is installed. q Option Cassette This selects how the optional cassettes are installed. q Large Capacity Feeder This selects how the Large Capacity Feeder is installed. The Large Capacity Feeder is an option for e-STUDIO20/25 Sereis only. q Stack Feed Bypass Selects this when the Bypass Tray is installed. q Others Select this when other optional devices are installed.

Click on [OK] to save the settings.

UNINSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER


SUPPLEMENTS:
q If only printer drivers were installed by means of "Add Printers" or "Plug-and-Play", then just delete the printer icons from the Printer folder. q If you only delete the printer icon from the Printers folder, the TOSHIBA Status Display will no longer be available.

Please make sure that all Toshiba printer utilities have been shut-down before uninstalling.

Run the Uninstall.exe.


q The shortcut to the Uninstall.exe can be found in the "Toshiba e-STUDIO" folder, within the "Programs" folder. q The Confirm File Deletion screen appears.

q Start removing programs.

After removing programs completed, click on [OK].


q The INFORMATION screen appears.

q If the TOSHIBA Status Display has not been installed to your computer, the INFORMATION screen does not appear and complete the uninstallation.

INSTALLING THE AGFA FONT MANAGER


Install AGFA Font Manager
The AGFA Font Manager application is used to install, uninstall, preview and categorize fonts on a computer.

NOTE:
To install the AGFA Font Manager, Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher must be installed on your computer.

Insert the CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive.


q The menu screen appears. q If the menu screen is not automatically displayed, or when the AGFA Font Manager is installed via the network, double-click on TOSHIBA_e-STUDIO16_20_25.exe in the Menu folder of the CD-ROM, that may be found in Windows Explorer.

Click on a language of your Operating System. Click on the [Setup Font Manager].

Click on the [Setup].


qThe Choose Setup Language screen appears.

Select a language and click on [OK].


qThe Welcome screen appears.

q The Select Components screen appears.

Check the components you want to install.


q Programs Files: Installs the AGFA Font Manager program. q Fonts: Installs the default fonts to the AGFA Font Manager.

Select the drive and path for the components to be installed.


q [Browse...] button: The Select Folder screen appears from which a folder can be selected or created to install the application into. q [Disk Space...] button: The Available Disk Space screen appears from which a disk drive with sufficient space to install the application can be selected.

Click on [Next].
q Installation of the AGFA Font Manager and fonts begins.

IMPORTANT:
While installation is under way, never take out the CD-ROM. Otherwise, the AGFA Font Manager may not be installed correctly.

Click on [OK].

q If you want to view the Readme file, check on Yes, review the Readme file now!. q If you want to skip this process, check on Simply complete the installation. q The installation is completed.

SUPPLEMENT:
When installing the AGFA Font Manager from Windows 95, the message that announces you to restart your computer is displayed. It is recommended to restart your computer before using the AGFA Font Manager on Windows 95.

Uninstall AGFA Font Manager


Please make sure that all programs have been shut-down before uninstalling.

Run the Uninstall.exe.


q The shortcut to the Uninstall.exe can be found in the "AGFA Font Manager 2.0" program group folder, within the "Programs" folder. q The Confirm File Deletion screen appears.

q Start removing programs.

Click on [OK].
q Complete the uninstall process.

SUPPLEMENT:
When uninstalling the AGFA Font Manager from Windows 95, the message that announces you to restart your computer is displayed. It is recommended to restart your computer after uninstalling the AGFA Font Manager from Windows 95.

AGFA Font Manager conveniently allows you to access basic operations through menu items. Please see the Help to learn more about them. AGFA Font Manager has a control bar to allow quick access to basic functions. Please see the Help to learn more about them. Displays the list of available fonts. It is from this list that you can select fonts to install in Windows. Displays the group of fonts which are installed and active under Windows. Create, delete, and modify the font groups. Font grouping allows you to create custom collections of fonts and give them meaningful names. Font collections can represent different working scenarios, different users of your computer, or different styles you want to convey.

NOTE:
For further details and operation of the AGFA Font Manager, press F1 to display the HELP window.

Getting Started with AGFA Font Manager Install Fonts


q Select one or more fonts to install from the Available Fonts list (the left list box). q Click on [Install] button.

Search for Fonts


You can search for fonts on floppy disks, CD-ROMs, your local drive, or a network drive. q Use the [Search] button. q Select where you want to search for fonts. q Click on [OK].

Uninstall Fonts
q Select one or more fonts to be uninstalled from the Installed Fonts list. q Click on [Un-install] button.

PRINTING (Windows)
The following describes the printing procedure for Windows 95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP applications and how to cancel a print job. The application WordPad is used as an example.

IMPORTANT:
The printing procedure may vary depending on the application. For further details, refer to the instructions and the HELP menu attached to the application.

Printing

Open a WordPad document, then click on [Page Setup...] in the [File] menu.
q The [Page Setup] screen appears.

Click on [Printer...].
q The [Page Setup for Printer] screen appears.

Select the printer driver installed for the e-STUDIO16/20/25, then click on [OK].

PRINTING

IMPORTANT:
q The [Name] displayed here is the name given to the printer driver when it was installed, or the name as it was displayed on the icon in the Window's [Printer] folder.

Select the paper size and feeding direction, then click on [OK].
q Set the [Size] field to an appropriate paper size. q Set the [Source] field to a paper feeder which contains paper corresponding to the selected paper size. If no particular feeder is required, set at "Auto Select".

Click on [Print...] in the [File] menu.


q The [Print] screen appears.

Make sure the [Name] field corresponds to the name of the installed printer.

SUPPLEMENT:
For printing in various forms (enlarged/reduced printing, Layout printing, etc.), click on [Properties] for the printer driver settings. For information on the printer driver properties, see the PRINTER DRIVER SETTINGS.

Canceling a Print Job

Double-click on the printer icon displayed in the Windows Taskbar.

This is available only when the Bypass Tray is installed. q Labels Select this when using label paper. This is available only when the Bypass Tray is installed. q Cardstocks Select this when using cardstock paper. This is available only when the Bypass Tray is installed. q Letter Head Select this when using letterhead paper. This is available only when A4 or LETTER is selected for the Paper Size.

Number of Copies
This sets the number of printed copies. You can set any integer from 1 to 999. NOTE: It is set to 1 as a factory default.

Binding Margin
This selects whether or not the Binding Margin is set on the paper to be printed. NOTE: It is set with None when shipped from the factory. q None Select this when no gutter is to be set. q Left Select this when the gutter is set on the left side. q Right Select this when the gutter is set on the right side. q Top Select this when the gutter is set on the top of the paper.

Width
This sets the gutter width in millimeters or inches. For setting in millimeters, select mm and select a value from 10.0 to 50.8 mm in units of 0.1 mm. For setting in inches, select inch and select a value from 0.39 to 2.00 inches in units of 0.01 inch. NOTE: It is set at 0.39 inches (10.0 mm) as a factory default.

Duplex (available only when the Duplex Unit is installed)


Enables duplex printing (printing on both sides of paper) and the type of binding for the duplex-printed pages. For duplex printing, check the box. Click on the Duplex icon, and select the desired type of binding. NOTE: This is not available when Magazine Sort is selected at Sort Mode. q Book Select this to bind along the vertical side of paper. Enlarge/Reduce
This changes the size of the printed image on the page. NOTE: Actual Size is selected when shipped from the factory. Enlarge/Reduce Printing is not available when: Layout Printing is checked.

q Actual Size Select this for printing the original at 100 %. q Output Paper Size Enlarge/reduce printing is performed based upon the size of the paper to be copied on. Set the size of the copy paper. q Zoom Enlarge/reduce printing is achieved by designating the zoom ratio. The paper size remains unchanged. Set the zoom ratio for printing using a numeric value. Any integer from 25 to 400 (%) can be set for the zoom ratio. When Magazine Sort is selected, Zoom is not available.

q When a watermark is designated, the designated watermark is enlarged/reduced for printing. q When no gutter is set in Binding Margin, the designated Width is retained without being influenced by the enlarge/reduce printing.

Relationship with Application Settings


The some applications enable to collate pages (Group) or not to collate page (Sort) when you print multiple copies of a document. The driver settings, such as Sort Mode and Offset settings, may not be applied for the printing result according to the Collate setting at the Print screen of an application. This tab is used to add a blank cover sheet, back cover sheet, or print a first page on different paper fed from a selected location. This is useful when you want to add or print a cover page on different colored paper, and/or different sized paper.

Fonts

Size
Set the font size for the newly created or edited Watermark. The font size can be set from 1 to 999 pt in units of 1 pt. Each font can further be set with a font style of Bold and/or Italic. NOTE: 72 pt font size is set as a factory default.

Darkness
This sets the shading (darkness) of the newly created or edited Watermark. The shading can be set from 0 (lightest) to 100 (darkest) in units of 1 point. NOTE: 50 points are set as a factory default.

Appearance
This sets the appearance (angle) of the Watermark. The angle can be set from 90 degrees to 90 degrees in units of 1 degree. NOTE: The angle is set to 0 degree (horizontal) as a factory default.

Click on this to enter a new Watermark or to enter edited Watermark settings.

Position
This sets the watermark position to be printed. The position can be set from -50 to +50 in the X and Y directions. To print a watermark at the center of the paper, click on [Center].

Displays the current status of the substitution table. Select a TrueType font to be replaced, with the printer substitution font.

Displays the TrueType font to be substituted.

[PS] Tab
This tab appears only when the PS driver is installed, to show PS settings.

Print PS Information
On completion of printing, a PS error information page is printed, if there are errors. To print it, check the check box. NOTE: The box is checked as a factory default.

Job Timeout
This sets the time limit for sending a print job from the computer to the printer. When the set time limit is exceeded, printing is canceled (i.e., Job Timeout). The Job Time value may be set from 0 to 999 (seconds) in units of 1 second. If the Job Time is set to 0 (zero), no canceling of print jobs (Job Timeout) will occur. NOTES: It is set to 15 as a factory default. Do not set to 0 when the printer is used with a network connection.

Output
This selects the PS file output. NOTES: It is set at Printer as a factory default. The output cannot be changed and set to Printer when using Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, or Windows XP. q Printer This outputs data to the printer, to perform printing. q Encapsulated PS file This does not output data to the printer but converts the data into a PS file. The stored file can be used by a DTP application

Mirror Image Printing


This prints a mirror image of the document (inverting left and right). For printing a mirror image, click on Mirror. NOTE: It is set to Normal as a factory default.

This tab establishes whether optional devices are installed on the printer. Items set depend on the configuration of the printer. It is recommended that such items be set before printing or setting the [Other] tab page.

Group Number
Displays the Group Number entered at the time of the printer driver installation. The Group Number can be entered or selected under this tab when the printer driver is installed using the Add Printer wizard.

Save
Click this button to save the Group Number that you have assigned. When you click this button, the Input check screen appears. Click [OK] to submit the setting. This is not available if you have already set the Group Number.

[Version Information]

STARTING TOSHIBA STATUS DISPLAY


The TOSHIBA Status Display will monitor the printer status when certain events occur at the printer, such as a paper jam, paper out and so on. Users can also set the printer configuration information through the system.

System Requirements
The TOSHIBA Status Display can be used in the following environment: qApplicable OS : Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP qLocal I/F : IEEE1284 (Compatible mode, ECP) qBIOS Setting : ECP enabled

NOTES:
q The TOSHIBA Status Display is not available when the printer is connected in a networked environment. q The TOSHIBA Status Display is not available when the TOSHIBA Viewer is running on your PC. If the Status Display is started while the TOSHIBA Viewer is running on the PC, the alert message will be displayed. Please make sure to exit the TOSHIBA Viewer.

SUPPLEMENT:
If the TOSHIBA Status Display is not available, ensure that the following details are satisfied: q Ensure that the right cable is connected to the printer and your computer. The Status Display will automatically start if [Yes] is clicked to automatically start the Status Display during installation. If you clicked [No] at the prompt, select the shortcut to the TOSHIBA Status Display in the TOSHIBA e-STUDIO folder from the Start menu under Programs to start the TOSHIBA Status Display.

Screen Views
The TOSHIBA Status Display has three different types of the screen views. qReduce View This screen displays the printer status only. To display this screen, select Reduce on the View menu. When you first start the TOSHIBA Status Display this screen appears. qExPand View This screen displays the printer status, how to recover if any problems occur, and the image of the printer status. To display this screen, select ExPand on the View menu. qIcon View The TOSHIBA Status Display icon is displayed in the status area of the Task bar. The icon color will change according to the printer status. Blue: The printer detects no error or warning. Yellow: The printer detects warnings. Red: The printer detects errors.

Duplex
Set this to print on both sides of the paper. The Duplex Unit must be installed when it is set to ON. NOTE: It is set to OFF as a factory default.

Binding
This selects whether or not the Binding Margin is set on the paper to be printed. q Long Edge Select this when the gutter is set on the longer edge of the paper to be printed. q Short Edge Select this when the gutter is set on the shorter edge of the paper to be printed.

Offset Stack
Set this to print using the Offset Stack function. The Offset Stacker or Finisher must be installed when it is set to ON. NOTE: It is set to OFF as a factory default.

Top Priority Cassette


Sets the priority of the cassettes to be used for printing. The cassette selected here is used for printing before other cassettes when the Paper Source is set to AUTO. NOTE: It is set to OFF as a factory default.

Detect Paper Size


Set this to detect the paper size before printing unless the paper size in the tray matches to the document size. When this is set to OFF, the machine does not display the paper size error message and prints the document. When this is set to ON, the machine displays the paper size error message before printing the document if it does not match the paper size in the tray. NOTE: It is set to OFF as a factory default.

[Printer Setting] Tab


This configures the printer settings. The settings are only applied when printing is performed without the printer driver. Items include page protection, line/page, toner save, I/O time out, auto continue, and smoothing.

Page Protection
This sets the page protection function. A data overrun error may occur during the printing operation when there is a large amount of data on a page, because the system cannot analyze the data in time while printing. Page protection reserves additional memory and waits until the page is fully composed before starting the print operation in order to avoid a data overrun error. q Auto q On The printer analyzes each page and turns on page protection automatically only when it is required. The printer always keeps a sufficient memory reserve to ensure that a page can be fully composed.

Print PS Error
Set this to print a PostScript Error Report when an error occurs during printing with the PS driver. NOTE: It is set to Off as a factory default.

Line/Page
Select the number of lines which can be printed on one page. This only applies when printing text documents from an application which does not utilize a page setup feature. (i.e. The text is printing from MS-DOS.) NOTE: It is automatically set depending on the paper size.

Toner Save

I/O Time Out


This sets the time out interval that the printer will wait if there is an interruption while receiving a print job. The Auto Continue setting determines what the printer will do next after the time out value is reached. NOTE: It is set with 45 as a factory default.

Auto Continue
This sets the duration for which the printer will automatically attempt to recover from a print job error. NOTE: It is set to 15 as a factory default.

Smoothing
This setting enables/disables the Smoothing feature. This is only applied when printing is performed without the printer driver. NOTE: It is set to On as a factory default.

Emulation Setting
Select the emulation to be used for printing. NOTE: It is set to AUTO as a factory default. q AUTO q PCL q PS The machine automatically chooses the emulation mode that is suited to the document to be printed. This sets the configuration for the Network Interface Card. You can set the TCP/IP, IP address, Subnetmask, Default gateway, IPX/SPX, and frame type. This is only available when the optional NIC kit (GF-1110) is installed on the e-STUDIO16/20/25.

TCP/IP
Set the TCP/IP configuration. q Enable/Disable Select enable or disable the TCP/IP. q IP Address This sets the IP address of the NIC. q Subnetmask This sets the Subnet Mask of the NIC. q Default Gateway This sets the Default Gateway for the NIC. q Use DHCP Check this to obtain the IP address automatically from the DHCP server.

PRINTER MODE
This section describes the printer function settings on the Control Panel of e-STUDIO16/20/25. These functions on the Control Panel are only available when the Print Unit is installed on your machine. The following are printer function items that can be performed on the Control Panel. CANCEL JOB: Cancel a job in progress. This only cancels the jobs in the process of printing. When a job is being received from the computer, the printer waits until the job is completely received before cancelling the job. Continue printing when the machine shows a warning status. When the warning status, Load XX paper in XX Tray, is displayed on the Message Display Panel on the Control Panel, the machine stops and pauses printing until the paper is loaded in the tray. Select CONTINUOUS PRINT to force the job to print. When the DETECT PAPER MISMATCH is set to OFF, the machine always prints the document without displaying the warning status. Enforce to print the job that was not printed for some reasons, such as the job has no End of Job data. Print the Configuration Page, Demo Page, PCL Font List, PS Font List, Status Log List, NIC Status Page, and Group Management List.

DETECT PAPER MISMATCH: Set to display a warning status when the paper size of the print job does not match the paper size in the cassette. WHEN PRINTING CANNOT BE PERFORMED...


When printing is not performed after being sent from the computer, check the following: Check Item Is the power ON? Is the printer cable disconnected? Is the appropriate printer cable used? Action Turn ON the power of the machine. Connect the printer cable correctly. Please use the appropriate printer cable. If the cable is cut, replace it with a new one. The printer cable varies depending on the computer to be connected. See SPECIFICATIONS AND OTHER INFORMATION - PRINTER CABLE SPECIFICATIONS . Set paper in the required cassette. Confirm the error message, then perform the required action.

NOTES: After performing any of the actions above, do the Test Print. See [Test Print] Tab . If the Test Print cannot be performed, please call for service. If the printer is used on a network, ask the network administrator.
