This document summarizes the approach of IIM Udaipur to prepare the admission List for its 2nd PGP Batch (2012-14). The batch size is likely to be around 120. IIM Udaipur reserves the right to modify any part of this document including the various criteria and cut offs mentioned at any time till the actual admission process for the batch is completed. The admission process of IIM Udaipur consists of: (a) CAT Examination (b) Short listing for Personal Appearance (PA) process (c) Conducting the PA process. PA process is composed of Written Analysis (WA) and Personal Interview (PI). The PA process will be common to all the six new IIMs, namely, Rohtak, Ranchi, Raipur, Tiruchirapalli, Udaipur and Kashipur. (d) Preparing the Merit List based on CAT score, PI & WA score and Profile score as indicated in following tables.

Among the candidates who qualify as per above eligible criterion, criterion used for short listing for PA process would be total CAT score. IIM Udaipur admission committee will decide the number of candidates which would be called for PA process for each of the above categories.

The criteria for preparing the Merit List will be as follows CAT Score : 50 % Personal Appearance (PI & WA): 30% Profile : 20% CAT Score: 2.1 IIM Udaipur will use CAT 2011 score 2.2 Personal Appearance: IIM Udaipur will consider the following weightage Written Analysis : 10% Personal Interview : 20% 1
Personal Interview and Written analysis (PI & WA) scores of those candidates in the combined shortlist of the six new IIMs who are common with IIM Calcutta (IIMC) will be directly collected from IIMC. Efforts are on to get this arrangement extended to a few other established IIMs too. Only the rest of the candidates need to appear for the Common Personal interview and Written Analysis of the six new IIMs. The common PI & WA for the six new IIMs will be coordinated by IIM Ranchi.
