Using Windows Live Movie Maker
1. Open the Start menu 2. Click All Programs in the lower left corner
8. Slide the zoom time scale all the way to the + in order to be able to precisely cut the video clip
13. Slide the zoom time scale (in the lower right corner) to the middle to see all three clips
14. Select the middle video clip and push the delete key
15. Click the first video clip then click then Video volume button
16. Adjust the volume slider all the way to the left to mute the volume
17. Click the second video clip, click the Video volume, and mute the volume 18. Click the Home tab, then click the Add music button Home tab
20. Select the Sample Video folder, then select Maid with the Flaxen Hair, click Open
21. Push the space bar to preview your movie 22. Click the Title button to add a title page
23. Delete the title on the slide and type Animals Gone Wild
24. Click the beginning of the first video clip the click the Caption button to add a caption
27. Click the Home tab and click the Credits button to add a credits
29. Click the Movie Maker menu and select Save Project
30. Type Animals Gone Wild and click the Save button
To export the movie so it can be played on other computers click the Movie Maker menu and then select Save movie. Pick Recommended for this project, type a name, and click the save button.
*** When using Movie Maker you can only use one computer to work on a project. An incomplete project cannot be moved from one computer to another. If you have finished the project you can export the movie to watch on other computer but once it is exported it cannot be changed.
