Athletic Weights and Conditioning Agreement Letter


It is the expectation that all athletes in Athletics Weights and Conditioning will: Be Prompt Be Dressed out Be focused, self-motivated and self-driven Give full effort and technique on Dynamic Warm-up, Lifting and Auxiliaries Lift -- with the expectation that: 1. Athletes will follow the scheduled lifting sets, reps and lifts 2. Auxiliary movements/exercises are a necessary part of the lifting routine. These include but are NOT limited to: core, plyometric, agilities, sprints, shuttle, mile run, jump rope 3. Athletes are expected to work out on game days if class is being held. There will be no excuses from coaches allowed. If the athlete is in this class, he/she is expected to work out on all class days. 4. Athletes will be more focused on lifting/auxiliaries/spotting, staying on task for the entire period(the weight room is not a social environment). 5. Athletes will learn, practice, and demonstrate proper lifting, spotting, dynamic warm-up, and auxiliary techniques daily. 6. Athletes will lift and stay in their assigned groups. 7. This class, with the right attitude and work ethic, will make the athlete stronger and more explosive.
