7 of 26 August 1999 on the application of the Danish Safety at Sea Act to foreign ships

Translation: Only the Danish version is authentic Technical Regulation No. 7 of 26 August 1999 Technical Regulation on the application of the Danish Safety at Sea Act to foreign ships In pursuance of section 1(2) of the Danish Safety at Sea Act No. 900 of 16 December 1998 and after authorization from the Minister for Trade and Industry is laid down: 1. - (1) The Danish Safety at Sea Act, and the regulations issued hereunder, shall apply to foreign ships in Danish ports or in Danish territorial waters to the extent that it is compatible with international law. The Act, and the regulations issued hereunder, shall further apply to foreign ships in the exclusive economical zones to the extent that it is compatible with international law. (2) The Danish Maritime Authority may dispense from the provisions of subsection (1) for foreign ships complying with the international requirements on the construction of ships, equipment, operation etc. 2. - This Technical Regulation shall enter into force 15 September 1999.
