Ten Special Rules Part 1

September 30 - October 6, 2012

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the PowerSource Information Center. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

God gives us rules to live by because He loves us.

God is love. 1 John 4:8

While Moses was on top of Mt. Sinai, God gave Moses 10 rules or commandments. God wanted His people to live by these rules. The last 5 are: Dont hurt people. Dont cheat. Dont take things that belong to others. Dont lie about others. Dont want other peoples things. Exodus 20

Father God, I love you so much. Thank you for giving us your special rules. Forgive me when I do wrong things. Thank you for my parents, teachers and Apostles Ron and Hope. Help them be strong and wise to teach me Your Word. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I believe Your love is flowing through me to bless others. I will tell them how great You are and how much I love You. Thank you that because of the stripes on Jesus back, I am healed and whole. In Jesus Name, Amen

Isaiah 26:3 God,You keep me in perfect peace because my mind is focused on You, because I trust in You. Romans 15:13 God, thank you for filling me with all joy and peace as I trust in You. I will overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
