Problem: Nokia is facing a very slow sale of their flagship unit which is Nokia Lumia 900. With the increasing sales of Apple and Android products, they are scrutinized by others for being low coming from the highest at the turn of the century.

Strategy: With their contract with AT&T, they cut the price in half of those clients who sign a 2 year contract with AT&T. They can get the unit for as low as $49.99. With the use of the low price they hope to sell more units in the coming weeks. Although the Lumia 900 would not get the Windows 8 update, Nokia said that they would provide substantial updates for the unit.
