Woke up today to coming back home. Checking out of the hotel at 11 AM, I took a little walk around the strip and waited for the shuttle for an hour, only to find out that they had to be called prior to boarding. In the end I took a cab to the airport which ended costing less than commissioning an airport shuttle. No luggage fees either and on the trip I learned that there are only two shifts for taxi drivers in a 24/7 business, there is no terminal 2 at McCarran Airport, and that I should never take any flights via the airline called Spirit; apparently even though the flights are cheap, the fees for carry-ons and check-ins are way too overpriced. The check-in took much longer than expected and the security was less sparse than I thought it would be. I didnt get swabbed for explosives this time. They have this cool full-body micro-sensor and the process took less time than over at YVR.
