The board, staff, and volunteers of Montanova Stables Foundation are excited to deliver information about our Inaugural Benefit Horse Show on September 30, 2012. This is our first public horse show! We are thrilled to have the opportunity to educate the community about the Foundation's work and to involve area equestrians. During 2012, the Foundation was able to provide low-cost riding lessons, after school enrichment, and free summer camp experiences to over fifty children in the area. Our mentorship program continues to grow and mature as well, assisting over fifteen young people in developing leadership and interpersonal skills in addition to a long lasting commitment to community service. This summer we hosted three weeklong summer camps free of charge with the help of these mentors and several adult volunteers. The Foundation's work is not limited to our own programs. Our partnership with the Boys and Girls club of Central Virginia has helped to provide outdoor equestrian activities to many local youth. Albemarle High School's CBIP program uses us as a resource to help disabled high-school students learn vocational skills. Local foster agencies partner with us to provide a variety of services to fostered children. We encourage you to consider supporting the Foundation through sponsorship in the upcoming horse show as we embark on a new path of community involvement. All profits will directly benefit the work of the Foundation, and sponsorship is fully tax deductible. In addition to the following levels of sponsorship, we would like to honor a former lesson student, Meriwether Buckalew, with a Championship trophy. Meriwether was killed in a tragic accident over the past Christmas holidays. Sponsorship levels are as follows: Classes Division Championship Jump Sponsorship (18) The Meriwether Buckalew Championship Additional Levels: Bronze Silver Gold appreciate your consideration. Sincerely, Jennifer Jones, President, Montanova Stables Foundation
