Dear Sir/Madam MIA MEMBER INDUCTION COURSE E-LEARNING (e-MIC) As you are aware, every member is required to attend the Member Induction Course within six (6) months of admission as a member. This requirement is provided for under Section 400 of the Institute's By-Laws (On Professional Ethics, Conduct and Practice). Member Induction Course is the first course conducted via e-learning. The MIA e-learning portal is conducted completely via the Internet through the Learning Management System (LMS). With the setup of this portal, every MIA member can now experience learning from anywhere, anytime and at any pace. The details of the e-MIC are as follows:Programme Outline Module 1 : MIA and The Accountancy Profession Module 2 : Institutes By-Laws (On Professional, Conduct and Ethics) Module 3 : Investigation and Disciplinary Proceedings MIA E-Learning Survey Form Registration fee : RM180.00 CPE credit hours : 4 To begin your learning process, please follow the enclosed instructions. Kindly be informed that you are REQUIRED to register the e-MIC before 7 July 2012 and MUST COMPLETE the course before 30 November 2012 i.e. within 6 months from your admission date. Failure to complete the Member Induction Course is considered a breach of the above mentioned By-Laws. A member in breach of the By-Laws will be subjected to the Institutes disciplinary proceedings.
