Drop-in advice clinics

supporting NIHR funding stream applications Do you need expert advice on a research funding proposal?
The West Midlands Research Design Service exists to help to people preparing research proposals for applied health or social care research to peer-reviewed funding competitions. The RDS are a team of methodologists based in universities and the NHS across the West Midlands, able to advise and provide practical support when you are developing your grant application. We are funded by the NIHR for this and our help is provided free of charge. WMRDS is holding two drop-in clinics on:

Weds 19th September 11am 2pm (Library, Clinical Sciences Building, UHCW) and Weds 26th September 11am 2pm (Library, Clinical Sciences Building, UHCW)

We will have a team of advisers ready to help you with your research funding proposal, advising on:
Formulating research questions Designing a study Mixed methods research Identifying suitable funding sources Identifying the resources required for a successful project Involving patients and carers Building an appropriate research team Methodologies for quantitative or qualitative research Health economics Identifying research training opportunities Regulatory issues and advice on ethics and research governance PPI bursaries
