24A Fall Conference October 5-6, 2012 Dear Lions, Governor Emily Carnes and her partner in service,

Chuck Fields, cordially invite you and the members of your club to attend the 2012 Fall Conference. Friday night we will have an October Fest with music and cash bar. There will be several service projects in addition to new seminars available. Three sessions will be designated for Leos and their advisors and/or sponsor clubs. If you would like to participate with the Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center in Arlington, please contact Chief Operating Officer Roy Davis at (703) 671-1919 or lercnova@verizon.net. Although he will be leaving for a mission, he will have a lead volunteer to train you. The center will be open for service from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. This will leave time for you to travel to the Hyatt Dulles in time for lunch. International Director Marvin Chambers of Saskatchewan, Canada, will be the guest speaker for the Saturday Luncheon. We will have remarks from Our International Directors wife, Lynne Chambers, at the Saturday Dinner. Arlington South Lions gratefully acknowledge Fairfax Hosts Gary Maxwell who will assist with advance registration. Please make your room reservations by September 22, 2012 and mail your conference registration postmarked by September 28, 2012. After that date, please email your meal requests to cwfjr@comcast.net and bring your registration with payment to the conference.
