A rule for multiplying and dividing integers is that if you are multiplying numbers that have the same symbol (negative and positive), the product will be a positive number, but if you are multiplying numbers with different symbols, the product will be a negative number. The same thing goes for dividing, and it doesnt matter which number is a negative, as long as only one number is a negative, the quotient will be negative, and if both numbers are negative or positive, the quotient will be positive.
