Leading the team of

Manufacturing Technical Team in carrying out their daily process.

Engineering functions and troubleshooting line defects. Involved in preparation and continuous improvement of Yield of production line. Responsible for providing engineering support by solving the critical issues to the production team to improve production yield, quality and process cycle time.

Assist Process Engineer/Project Engineer in designing, jigs and set for (Normal and
NPI) builds.

Involves in preparing VPI (Venture production instruction), creates process flow

(mainline, subassembly, rescreen and rework flow) and process instruction for New Product Introduction (NPI) and existing product for production according to customer requirement.

Engaged in preparing and amend SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for existing
models and for new models too.

To train and supervise a team of technician, technical operator & NPI operator to
carry out their daily task.

Have good communication and feedback with suppliers and vendors for any
modifications, corrections and suggestion to designing, modifying stencils, jigs and fixtures in implementing new changes for improvement.

Support NPI process development, optimization and improvement prior to product

transfer to production. Preparing line setup for current product engineering and new product introduction.

Conduct cycle time taken for each process and perform line balancing to increase productivity and product quality. Provide feedback on process and materials issues/make recommendations and offer solutions to ensure new products meet Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines.

Liaise and feedback to customer or R&D for any in process sequence and part issues.
Uploading new BOM and maintain the current BOM in SAP system. Control the DGS server (DATA GATE SYSTEM), create the new Route, Process flow & create the new station, monitoring the line efficiency and reduce the reject.
