Online Eye Bank Service Management System

ABSTRACT
An eye bank is the link between the donor and recipient/eye surgeon. It is an organization recognized by government to collect and distribute human eyes to those who require cornea transplants.There are

1.3 million corneal blinds in India. Mostly children and young adults. Current Collection - 22000 corneas. Current Requirement - 100,000 corneas. Vast gap between demand and supply.

From the above survey ,we came to know the large requirement of eyes to solve the eye problem of affected people.In our country,there is a limited number of eye banks are available and are not integreted.In each eye bank, details about the eye donors, recipients are maintained locally i.e data collected and maintained for their surrounding area only and the people belongs to that respective area only get benefits.In some cases,the people belongs to that same area also affected due to lack of correct matches of eyes.The same process are followed in most of the eye bank.The biggest drawbacks are

 Non-Integretion between eye banks globally. Affected people are not able to know the details about all eye bank in the case of emergency situations. There is a limited choice for eye recipients. People fully depends on the eye bank.

To solve these kinds of drawbacks and problems,we implement the new technique called Online Eye Bank Service Management System.In our project, we going to maintain the details of all eye donors, eye recipients, hospitals, orphanages and social service

organization in online.There is a separate registration form for both donors and recipients. The Interested people can able to register as a donors or a recipients through online and they can able to edit their profile.On the other side,Membership facility is available in our site.Any people and organization includes recipients,hospitals,orphanages,socials service organizations can able to create their own membership account in our site. They can see the availability of eyes and see the full profile of different donors and contact them.

So that, we can able to overcome the above mentioned drawbacks and hope this idea will definitely bring the big change.
