Lower School Library Media Center Program

Mission Statement:
Our Library Media Center educational program provides freedom of access to ideas and information that support learning activities in the Lower School. The Library Media Center educational program will facilitate collaboration among educators, serve as a bridge to access information and digital media both inside and outside of school, promote an appreciation of literature, and teach skills that enable students to become responsible life-long learners. Teachers and specialists will collaborate throughout the year on project-based learning to teach and practice information literacy skills and students will visit the Library Media Center each cycle for a variety of library and technology experiences.
