Equipment: Small knife Big cutting board Spatula Peeler (straight) Plastic Bowl for the waste Spoon Wok 2 plates Ingredients: 1 packet of snow peas 1 Carrot 1 Whole head of broccoli Eggplant Garlic Onion 2 full cups of water cup of soy sauce
1 packet of noodles Preparation: You peel the carrot, and then cut it into slices. After you cut it into slices, cut the slices in half. Do the same with the eggplant, except dont cut the slices in half. For the broccoli, cut the stem off first. Then cut the broccoli into thin slices. First you take off the ends of the snow peas, and then cut them into 3 different pieces. Before you start to cut the onion, you have to take the skin off. Then cut it into thin slices, like the broccoli. Get 3/8 of the garlic, and smash it with the knife or mince it. Recipe: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. Switch the stove on to a high temperature and put your pan on the stove Add as much oil as you think is needed, and wait for the pan to get hot When the pan is hot enough, add the slices of carrot and start stirring Add the broccoli and the eggplant when it starts to slowly sizzle Continue to stir Put the onion in the pan when it is giving a medium sizzle and dont stop stirring When the onion turns into a light brown color, add the noodles (if it doesnt cook fast, it means inside the pan is too dry, so you add 2 full cups of water) 8. When the noodles start to get floppy, add a cup of soy sauce and stir (you can do this step if you want)
9. Switch of the stove, put your stir fry on a big plate and if you want, you can add some garnishing (cucumbers, carrots or leaves like basil) This is how the dish looks like at the end:
Feedback:
My mum said that the stir fry was perfect, that it was cooked perfectly. My dad and sister said that it wasnt salty enough.
