DEPUTY STATE FIRE MARSHAL EARNS PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

PIKESVILLE, MD (September 10, 2012) One of Marylands Deputy State Fire Marshals has been honored by the Maryland Chiefs of Police Association (MCPA) for her exceptional work as a law enforcement officer. The 2011 Exceptional Police Professional Performance Award was presented to Deputy State Fire Marshal Caryn McMahon of the Southern Regional Office of the State Fire Marshal. Deputy McMahon was selected for this award from a host of well qualified nominees. She was chosen from among her peers as the officer who, through her dedication to duty and selfless service, best exemplified the ideals of this prestigious award. The award was presented during opening ceremonies of the MCPA Annual Conference at the Clarion Fountainebleau Hotel in Ocean City, Maryland this morning. A heartfelt congratulations is afforded to Deputy McMahon on this well deserved award.
