Adding your windows 7 machine to the wireless To start this tutorial, please go to your desktop 1.

Click the network icon highlighted in yellow 2. Next click Open network sharing center 3. Next Click Manage Wireless Networks Highlighted Click in yellow

4. Now click add that is highlighted in yellow Make sure the network WHS_Secure is not already there. If it is, click it, then click remove located next to add.

5. Click Manually Create Network profile Fill out the following information so it looks like the picture displayed below. Please note that it is case sensitive. Network Name: WHS_Secure Security Type: WPA2-Enterprise Encryption Type: AES Click connect even if this network is not broadcasting.

Then click next

6. Click Change Connection Settings

7. Click the security button highlighted in yellow.

8. Make sure the bar highlighted in yellow is set to PEAP, then click advanced settings

9. Make sure Specify authentication mode is checked, and the box below is set to user authentication. Next click ok and then click settings.

10.Make sure Validate server certificate is unchecked, then click configure.

11. Next make sure automatically use my windows login name is unchecked.

12. Click ok on all the boxes, then click close. 13.Next click the network icon again and double click WHS_Secure

14.Enter your username and password, make sure ad0909c\ is in front of your user name as shown, and that you are not using spaces.

15. Once connected, use internet explorer to access the internet. When prompted for a password, be sure to put ad0909c\ before you write your username and do not use spaces. (Ticking remember my credentials is optional)
