Senators and friends: It is with sincere disappointment and sadness that I give this letter to you all. It was only late yesterday when I had heard the rumor of an impeachment bill rattling through the woodwork. Although the accusations made against me and the proposed sanctions are disappointing and come at a time when our organizations focus should be steadfast and focused on the 29,549 citizenry it represents, we nonetheless must focus on an impending hearing. It is my goal to provide each and every one of you with the clearest explanation or response to any of the accusations made against me. I am confident that these accusations were made in response to confusion or a lack of transparency within our organization, especially since none of the authors of this bill have approached me before now to voice any of their concerns. If this had been done, I would have gladly addressed any of those concerns. In light of this, I look forward to meeting with anyone who has any questions regarding this issue. I will be having a small get-together next Monday, September 24, at 9:00 p.m., to answer any questions in a public setting. This will take place in the Capital Chamber of the Student Union. Anyone is invited to attend this gathering, especially those who have authored this impeachment bill. I promise to do everything in my power to resolve this conflict as soon as possible so that we can return our focus to sewing the students who have entrusted us to lead this organization.
