You may store serial numbers, item descriptions, pictures, and scans of receipts so that your items may be more easily identified in the event of theft or loss. This record may also come in handy when reporting any loss to your insurance provider. With just a few clicks, theres a free and easy way to keep track of those ever-important numbers that will help re-claim your property should it get lost, destroyed, or stolen. Citizens wanting to participate in Report It can register for the free service at https://reportit.leadsonline.com and begin building their personal property inventory list. An unlimited number of any and all types of items can be entered into Report It, along with serial numbers, product descriptions, and more. The information is housed on the Report It secure site and is compiled into a handy report that can be printed for insurance purposes or providing information to police in the event items are stolen.
