I feel that the performance appraisal process is time consuming. Management fixes salary through the performance rating. I find the frequency of performance appraisals appropriate. Promotion is purely based on performance appraisal. After the performance appraisal is done, I feel reluctant to get promoted to the new designation/grade/job. I feel that bias exists during performance appraisal.
