Social/Community ctd. Brickfield Park A Management Committee for Brickfield Park was set up in June 2010 and meets on a regular basis. The committee consists of public reps, user groups, local residents, the Garda and City Council staff from the Parks Department and the Local Area Office. Repair works were carried out to the surface of the all-weather pitch and the surrounding fence in August/September 2012. It is also planned to upgrade the lighting at the pitch. An application for Sports Capital Funding was submitted in June 2012 to drain 4 pitches.
Local Community Fora in Crumlin/Walkinstown, Dublin 6W and Drimnagh meet on a regular basis. Christmas Tree lights are due switched on as follows: Crumlin Village: 5 December th Terenure: 7 December Drimnagh: to be arranged

The Drimnagh IAP Monitoring th Committee met on 12 September 2012 in relation to the Smarter Travel initiatives.

Smarter Travel
Drimnagh was unsuccessful following publication of the Smarter Travel results in February 2012. The NTA has however made provision for works in the Drimnagh area in 2012. Works involving traffic calming measures at Davitt th Road commenced on 18 September. An information sharing meeting took place on th 12 September with member of the Drimnagh IAP Monitoring Committee.
