Opening scene-real drama gritry-man walking along, opening credits, (run time apprx, 2 minutes) he turns the corner

whilst on his phone and bumps into man. He looks up -atmosphere changes from gritty drama to a zombie horror where the audience will then realise the film genre-and the man slashes him across the face. Man on phone falls to the ground. There is a shot zooming out of the man on the phone being eaten with a pool of blood around his head. Pane of glass-man2 is knocking on his mate door and is with maincharacter. During a dull autumns day he gets no answer. "dude said he'll be in" man2 looks into his mates window and see's a dark shadow in the centre of the room. Looking far into the room a hand smashes through and opens to grab man2's throat and rips our the bone. As the hand pulls back the camera is fixed so it then revels Maincharacter behind the hand as he looks on in shock. Game type music plays as the camera revolves round the camera is looking on at man2 in the centre of the screen and Maincharacter is on the left hand side of the screen. Maincharacter is running down the road and runs into a park. The music is still a video game type of sound. Maincharacter gets to the top of the hill with the camera focused on him and only a few of the dead behind him. The camera is focused on him as he is running down the hill through the forrest. There are multiple shots (apprx 1 second runtime) of different parts of different dead. There is also a shot of three of the dead who jump out behind Maincharacter from in the woods and try to slash at him (apprx run time 3 seconds). A crane shot of Maincharacter running out of the woods across a field at the bottom in with a large group of the dead behind him. Whilst Maincharacter is running, other dead are running from other directions towards Maincharacter. The music slows down as Maincharacter is looking behind him in slow motion in time of the music. Still in slow motion Maincharacter turns back round and sees one of the dead and with a closed fist Maincharacter hits the dead on the side of the jaw. With part of the dead's jaw flying behind itself the dead falls to the ground. The music stop's and no longer in slow motion Maincharacter runs away out through a gate. Maincharacter2 is in a church at the front preying. sitting at a church bench whilst woman and man4 are of the church talking together. Maincharacter2 gets starts to walk out of the church when the doors are Man3 is walking out up and slowly opened from

the outside by Maincharacter. Covered in rain and blood Maincharacter locks the door and then vomits into a dish which had been left out near the church door for donations for the poor. Man3 looks round and start to slowly walk towards Maincharacter, "what the fuck happened to you?" Maincharacter2 stares at Maincharacter rambling on and trying to reply, "things, dead, walking though, but still..." Maincharacter vomits again hut this time missing the dish. "but still dead." Maincharacter2, still staring at Maincharacter tries to get some detail about what is going on. Explaining in more depth, Maincharacter shows the dead to Maincharacter2 and man3 from a window in the church looking out the front. Watching the dead slowly gather around the front man3 walks off to the middle of the church on the right hand side and picks up a floor standing candle "fuck this, this kinda shit ain't normal". As man3 tries to walk out of the church Maincharacter and maincharacter2 go to stop him. "what the fuck are you doing" Maincharacter2 grabs hold of the floor standing candle in man3's hand as maincharacter2 is pushed to the ground.
