Subject: - Theory of machine- I Course Objectives:a) To develop student for Recognizing, Reorganizing and Observing the mechanical components

and basic mechanical groups of the machines and mechanisms from examples taken of real situations. [iii, v] b) To develop the students' abilities to perform kinematic and dynamic analysis of planar mechanisms. [i, ii, iii ] c) To develop analytical skills to graphically and mathematically synthesize mechanisms for (Various) position, velocity, and acceleration. [i, ii, iii ] d) To develop skills for use of mathematics software and for writing computer programs to solve kinematics problems. (Using computer applications for the calculation and the simulation of mechanisms .) [i, v] e) To provide a foundation for the study of machine design. [iii] f) Development of individual and team communications skills involving preened post-processing and interpretation computer-aided design and analysis data and leadership quality. [i, iv, vii, viii] g) To sensitize the students about the relationship between technology and society by analyzing the role of machines. [vi]
