    You are expected to show that you fully understand and can explore the main ideas in a text.
    Remember, the texts that you will study have been written to explore complicated, deep issues about humanity or society. You must not only show that you UNDERSTAND these issues, but also that YOU can explore and analyse these issues too.

    Minimum Performance Criteria

    Analysis
    The response explains accurately and in detail ways in which relevant aspects of structure/style/ language contribute to meaning/effect/impact.

    Crucially, this should not just be a sentence or two but instead a FULLY DEVELOPED point about the issue(s) that the writer has explored in the text.
