The Festive Fayre was introduced as a fun, community event bringing trade to the town and keeping the

High Streets shops, Public Houses and eateries open at a t ime when businesses across the country are struggling in a recession. The Rules for stall holders must reflect this thinking and so applications WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED IF; 1. There are high street businesses offering the same goods 2. Two s talls have already been accepted selling the same types of goods. We try to operate in a fair manner but the decision of the committee is final. We have taken on board the comments and suggestions from last year dvise;s event and can a

a. Lighting will be available within the marquees but we recommend battery power ed lighting be brought by stall holders if they need their customers to see thei r goods in close detail b. There will only be stalls around the outside edge of the marquees so each sta ll holder will have more space behind them. The max table length will remain unc hanged at 6 ft. This year we will have more marquees. c. If a stall holder requires more room then they can bring their own gazebo. Th ey must be responsible for all lighting and tables.
